Brandon Quittem, friend of the pod, recently wrote a piece called 'Bitcoin and the Rhythms of History'.
In this piece, he discusses the concept of a 'saeculum', or a period of time that represents a 'very long lifespan'.... 90 years in which 4 generations of humans come and go, and the same four patterns of history are repeated in the way that society tumbles forward into the future.
He then connects how we are making yet another 'turning' of the 4-part revolution of a saeculum, and what Bitcoin represents as a character of the story of our place in history.
